Nightmare

Theres a stinging pain that lingers

starts from my wrists

To my neck then squeezes

begin to gasp

clench my fist till it bleeds

bite on my tongue

trying not to scream

tears slide down my cheeks

feels like blades

hit me in the chest

embedded in pale skin

struck my heart deep

shut my eyes tight

trying to focus on something else

feel it subside

then start to cry

hands cover my eyes

veins pop out

wraps around my face

eyes wide open now

see the blood trickle

I'm trapped in my own world

bite them...

they burst

heart beats fast

begin to feel the thirst

it burns

grab a vein

to quench my thirst

feel cold steel to my head

look up to see

light blue eyes

shes got her finger

on the trigger

rapid breathing

wake in fear

look beside me

theres no one there

shes killed my love

and I'm suffocating myself
