What Should I Feel?

by angelcakes649   Jun 21, 2005

The more that I love you,
The more I can’t trust,
I feel it’s an act to see through,
A veil to cover your lust.

You’ve pushed and you’ve cheated,
I’ve forgiven and sighed,
My will is depleted,
But I can’t forget that you’ve lied.

How can I be sure that you’re telling the truth,
When your eyes show the things you can’t see,
But ignorance is candy for my sweet tooth,
Yet all I want is for my heart to be free.

So tell me you love me,
Or tell me you don’t,
This is all that I plea,
I don’t know if tell me you won’t.

Don’t tell lies to protect me,
Just tell me what’s real,
Don’t lead me on to something that can’t be,
Tell me darling, what should I feel?
