Finishing the Tragedy

by Clark Jacobs   Jun 21, 2005

I can’t seem to forget
I try so hard
But still can’t seem to quit
My memories charred

I tell everybody I’m doing fine
But I fall apart at night
I wish you were still mine
Hopefully I’ll turn out all right

But its what you want most
And I hope you find someone better than me
Someone new so you can boast
Just please don’t let me see

I don’t want to love her anymore
She haunts me in my sleep
All it leaves me is sore
The cut she’s caused is deep

But what’s done is done
And I can’t undo it
The pain has only begun
Love I just will never get

So I pray
For my love for you to go astray
Because it hurts to much for it to stay
And I can’t keep living life knowing your gone forever
