I like the poem, but I think you tried to cram in a bit much in the end. You could have done without the end part, I think the message got across strongly enough without blatantly saying it, which shows you're a good writer.

There were some bumps but I really thought the ending was good. It made the poem work. (By bumps I mean some of the lines didn't fit right, either being too short or too long) Still it was a very good poem.
