What One Bullet Could Do

by Jessica K   Jun 21, 2005

She cries herself to sleep each night
with hopes her life will end
The cuts on her arm just wont seem to heal
Each day she wakes. she still has to pretend
her parents fighting..her friends ignoring
She wonders how sadness ruins her own little life
how quickly she could be dead
she wouldn't have to put up with all that strife
Tears run down her face
she doesn't know how much she can take
It would be so easy, just to carve her name in deep
she wouldn't have a failing feeling of defeat
She's sure no one will miss her,
cuz they barely even notice her
The pain of suicide is nothing
compared to the pain she lives with everyday
One bullet to the head
or a slit of the wrist
She'd be gone forever
I'm telling you,
No one would notice
