Ruined Angel

by Chelsey   Jun 21, 2005

A child of the night- exiled and alone,
she wants to be held and loved with someone to call her own,
but her happiness is unexisting and never to be true,
all because of a sinful deed she is never to undo,
with eyes as white as a lightning strike,
she goes unequaled by the others which she is not alike,
she is different- fearless because she is already dead,
damned to a hell that she herself has bred,
and now locked within it's curse she had created,
she lives as a vampire unwanted and recreated,
in the night which she had made she is reborn,
discarding the wings upon her back that are now broken and worn,
leaving her halo far behind,
for the search of her food she needs to find,
she hunts the blood- the food that she craves,
killing the souls she once sworn to save,
as her refuge of dark runs from the dawn,
no longer walking the streets of night you awaken to find this ruined angel gone.
