How can you love someone
that's done something you can't stand

how can you be yourself
when you don't know who you are

how can you live your life
when every day you wish for the end

how can you believe someone
when they have lied too many times before

how can you understand this pain
when this pain doesn't understand you

how can you say you care
when you are nearly never there

how can you be happy
when sad is all you feel

how can you take compliments
when all you are is insults

how can you do this to me
we were close friends not long ago

how can you hurt me
when once you said you loved me

how can you rape me
when you said i mean the world to you
