Price to Pay

by Megin   Jun 22, 2005

I look at you and smile
thinking this is it
I'm going to get a knife
then take it to my wrist,

I want you to be there
so you can look and see
how all the pain and misery
starts to slide right out of me,

Every little drop of blood
that hits the cold hard floor
is a little bit of my troubles
that is not in me no more,

Every little slice and tare
that is cut so deep
is a little piece of me
that can no longer be beat,

Every little cold touch
that you feel when you touch me
is a little bit already dead
as the rest is soon to be,

As you grab my hand
you pull me close to you
you whispered in my ear
why do you do what you do,

I manage to spit out
the words I had left to say
" you took your love away
now this is the price to pay"

now you watch me die
and all the pain I had is set free
but every bit of pain
I give it to you as a gift from me!

comment and let me know what you think..!!
