Raining Crimson Tears

by AsTheCrowFlies   Jun 22, 2005

Here I stand
Once again I'm at your door
I glance at my wrist
Only to see your name carved into my arm
Still fresh from the night before
I raise my hand to knock
I hesitate as I hear a sound from the other side
That laugh sounds familiar
Oh no can it be
Not her again
I thought you told her to leave
I turn to go
Too late
You'd seen me through the window
You come to the door
Terrified you'll see
I hide my wrist up my sleeve
You stand and stare
Your eyes are blank
They almost look black
The sight terrifies me
You glance back inside
I see her standing there
I look from one face to the other
I see the guilt in your eyes
This is too much to stand
I turn and run
As the sky let's go
The rain mixing with my tears
Full of pain as I fall to my knees
I screamed you name at the sky
Until my voice broke and was no more
Slowly I get to my feet
And start to head home
I stumble inside
And make it to the bathroom
I glance in the mirror as I walk past
Stopping to think
No wonder he doesn't want me
I pull open the top drawer
Succeeding in dropping it on the floor
I bend down and grab my friend
He's my razor blade
I glance once more at my arms
There are too many scars and cuts to count
I press the blade to my flesh once more
But this time I pushed too hard
The cut was too deep
Oh well I thought as I sank to the floor
It's not like they care anymore
The world is going black
And it's raining crimson tears
As my nightmare is becoming real
