The Daily Birth And Death Of The Sun

by Chad   Jun 22, 2005

The fire of dawn lights a path.
Dawn seemed to be a struggle of the independent sun.
During it's birth the sun will rise.
Bringing forth a color as red as blood.
Siting in the blazing sun.
Watching the rosy light flood over the sea.
Bathing the hills in gentle apricot light.
Siting in the dieing late afternoon sunshine.
Afternoon shadows stretch long and thin.
Blood-red streaks of twilight are fading.
The sun setting, turning the water orange.
The sun setting, painting a picture on the hills.
The last light of day tints the air and earth.
The bright promise of the day.
The sun set and the darkness deepened.
This is the daily birth and death of the sun.
