New Boy

He broke my heart
And I cried for days
But surely enough
I found other ways.
I found a new boy
That I'm getting to know
We laugh together
My smile always shown.
He does crazy things
As I forget about you
You hurt me so bad
I pray thats what he WONT do.
All boys are the same
They are masters at heart break
But he is so much fun
And a chance I'm willing to take.
I'm only 13
I have my whole life to live
I will keep my heart
Until I'm ready to give.
Right now he is what I'm after
its no longer about you
I will always remember what we had
But I have other things to do.
We are just meeting
so I should take this slow
he might not be thinking about me
I just don't know.
We don't go out
maybe later sometime
but for right now
Ill do just fine.
As long as I can see him
and watch him smile
I'll stay content
For at least a while.
So I guess all I want
is for you to know
I no longer need you
You can leave me alone.
I'm glad to see this new boy
almost everyday...
and to tell the truth
I think he is better anyway.
