hi i really liked this poem it reminds me of my dad the only thing is when he gets drunk he talks about suicide so i have to stick around because of the thought he could kill himself if im not there to protect him.

That is really deep, and i feel really bad for you that you have to go through that. in truth, i don't think anyone should have to, ever...... but great writing....keep it up

Im sorry you're forced to be alienated from your dad beacause thats what he chooses... My dad treats me the same way sometimes but its by loving some woman he barely know than his own daughter... He would rather take her to the beach if it makes her happy then give his son lunch money or buy his daughter school clothes... it was great keep it up...
