A really special person in my life wrote this for me

Dear diary for she can not see
The person that she is
And the person she could be
For she is no longer his

Broken up inside
Is a dreadful girl
The girl that used to be so happy
And laugh when she would twirl

Dear diary please let her know
That she is not hated by everyone
She is no longer happy
Because of the endless wounds that have begun

She doesn't know that she changed me
Into the person that is now better
The person that gave up a lot
That's why I'm writing this letter

Dear diary please let her know
That she means a lot
Not only to one person
But many that she has taught

This is something that id like to show
The friend that changed me into me
And a person that showed me who to let go
And who to just let be

Dear diary don't let her do anything
Anything that will take her on her way
Because she is the one that we want to stay
Never let her go or let her go away
