Just another love tale, but to me it is the best one
About the girl who is my world, yet she does not see
For she looks in the mirror and cannot love herself
When I see her though she is an angel, she is the world to me

I see a fallen girl, whose hopes were shattered and torn
And I want to pick her up, make her smile for real
She is my world, when she kisses me I am alive
Love and worries mixed in with how I feel

Prayers for her because she isn't smiling truly
Everybody oblivious to her pain, but I see her sad
Wish I could be there, when the darkness shadows reason
Listen to the falling tear drops, her sadness drives me mad

Want to stop the rain from falling on her happiness
To be a shelter from harms way, destroy the pain
Hold her up as my world crashes and burns around me
Wait for the darkness to envelop me, not her, again

When I see the scars are fading and the effort she puts in
I feel so proud, because she has done so well
Look into her eyes, and I see the hurt and agony
Wish I could be a ladder to recover her from hell

Everytime I hurt her, everytime I see her cry
Wish I could pick up the pieces, and set them on the ground
This love is my saviour and her pain is my killer
