I lost my best friend!!!

by Alisha   Jun 22, 2005

I lost my best friend
To a drunk driver
He was struck and killed

He was walking to Jack in the box
with some friends
They didn't see it coming from either end.

He was thrown about 150 feet into the middle of the road
The driver didn't stop he just kept on going.

His friends with him panicked and dragged him out of the street
Not knowing they were to late.

He had been killed instantly
Directly on hit
No one could have stopped it except the driver that killed him!

I found out that night
That my best friend had died
I didn't believe it
as i started to cry.

I had just saw him
Ten minutes before the accident
I gave him a hug and said my good byes

I didn't know it would be the last time i saw him
Know one thought it would.

The funeral came as many friends gathered to say goodbye to our friend we lost.

He was so young only 14
this happened 8 months ago
But i still feel the pain.

The driver was caught and convicted on all charges but,
only got 15 years to life.

I try to look and the good in that but i cant quite see
All he has to do for 15 years is be good and then he's free.

To kill another Innocent life
and take away my friend
Well i will tell you one thing
this is not the END!!!

please comment, i am very sorry it is so long..

I'm sorry this happened to you, I know how you feel because I lost my best friend too. She was hit more foce full then I so I lived and she didn't. Each Day I wake up and wonder why she went and not me. See she isn't the only one I've lost, but I could have gone with her and I wish that I had.

I am so terribly sorry, I lost my best friend as well, but it was on her own accord. I never realized the chat on AIM was the last of her I'd speak to. I hope that someday, you'll be able to move on.
