Puppy Love Crush

Every time I close my eyes,
your image flashes across my face.
Just a mere glimpse of you
and my aching heart begins to race.

Some may say it's genuine love,
& others say it's a puppy love crush.
I must not listen to their opinions
because really don't want to rush.

I don't know how I can tell you,
but I know it should be eventually.
I know that no matter how quick,
it will seem like an eternity.

A lot of people scoff my feelings
because they think it is sick & wrong
They don't know it has to be true
since it is you I think of all day long

It is completely inevitable.

but on you the decision must fall
to declare it whether false or true.

Everyday I await for you to answer whether you feel the same way
