Cherry Tree Lane

by AsTheCrowFlies   Jun 22, 2005

The street I live on
It's called Cherry Tree Lane
It seems very happy
But looks can be deceiving
At night
I hear the neighbors
They scream and yell
Till the break of dawn
Then I see her come out of the house
Her eye is black
From his smack
Then there's the guy down the street
He's got a problem with heroin and booze
He tried to attack me once
His eyes were all blood shot
He broke the bone in my arm
Now he doesn't live on Cherry Tree Lane anymore
And then there's me
I wear all black
And put too much eyeliner on
If you get the chance
To see my wrist
You'll know about my friend
The razor blade
I'm depressed and afraid
All while living on Cherry Tree Lane
