Will you be there

by sinister   Jun 23, 2005

Will you be my breath when I grow old,
To comfort me in the cold
To hold my hand when I can no longer stand
To whisper the words I need to hear,
Just so I know someone still cares

To walk with me when there’s no one left,
To ease the pain upon my chest
Will you share your strength with me when all mines is gone,
And together our favorite song
Help me to see all the joy that still exist,
After life has made me hard and there’s none to miss

When no reason can be found to go on,
Will you be my beacon in the storm
Rescue me from the tidal wave of despair,
With your smile so bright and clear

Save me from this world and myself,
Be my messenger from god and no one else
Hold me close and never let me go,
Let me feel true loves touch once more
I leave this world with memories of you and all that was true
