In Love Alone

Our love,with me is all I have,
when you left you took everything,
including my heart.

I thought that we would be able to keep in touch,
I was interested, but you were not interested as much.

I wait for a phone call, a knock on my door,
and all I get is my tears hitting the floor.

My love for you will always be there,
although I'm pretty sure you probably won't care because I was the only one that believed that love is what we shared.

It's hard being in love alone,
especially when that other person has moved on.
