The Lady (Its beautiful, dont judge the title)

by Avrii Monrielle   Jun 23, 2005

She wore a white satin dress
Trimmed with lace and silky down
So beautiful with dark brown curls
Long and shining with life
She has a pair of eyes
Sparkling hazel blue with mercy
Lips cherry-hazed and passionate

She is so sweet
A blossom in the breeze
Her name is Lilian
Pure and untouched
She cries midnight blue tears

Her only love in the world
She comforted all these years
Has gone away for good
And can't come back

She wishes she had loved him more
Or at least told him her feelings
Now she is too late
Her heart's no longer up for stealing

She holds one pure white rose
The last symbol of her love
In her other hand a blessing from above
That is a hard dagger, handle set in jade

She cries because it was his
For which he died today
She can't beleive what she saw
So now she slits her wrists
She can't take reality
There's no reason for this

Red,sacred droplets
Fall to the ground
She never kissed any man
Because her secret was never found

I feel sorry for her
Because she simply wants to die
She can't live with her true love dead
So now she starts to cry

Leave her in peace please
She is so sad and alone
Hope she'll live on
And not fall to be so cold

Her love commited suicide
Because he thought he wasn't loved by her
Good night kind lady
Don't forget what you were

This is an awesoem poem! I can relate to it although that kinda sounds weird. This poem was creative and sweet in a dark kind of way. Check out some of my stuff.
