My Peircing Touch

by Kisa   Jun 23, 2005

Count the fingers on my hand,
See the curves into the edges.
The thorns attached,
Soft skin but piercing touch.

Keep on counting 1,2,3,
The day won't end until you finish.
Even when every day,
My skin will continue to shed.

Though you try every year,
I will never fall for you.
Even when you finally do,
I will never fall for you.

Try and try as you might,
My skin will never soften.
As I touch you with my skin,
You will cry a single tear.

Every minute you seem determined,
But nowhere are you closer to me.
Touch you I will,
as you try to move away.

1,2,3, Keep on counting until 10.
Even when my touch is piercing,
You never fail to make smile.
Keep on counting as you might.

Touch me with you fingers,
Kiss me with you tender lips,
Even when you know my touch,
You never fail to make me smile.

You feel my rough shed hands,
With all it's dried up skin.
You never said one single word,
That made me cry at all.

You never failed to try to get me,
Even when my touch was piercing.
I took you for granted,
And now you're gone.

You were the only one,
The person who knew,
That my touch was piercing.

And now it ends all here,
With the saying of good byes.
With one last kiss,
One last touch of my dried up hand.

I say good bye to my one true love.

(I would just like to say, it wasn't that she didn't use lotion it was just how her life is. I compared her hands to her life. Thank you.)
