Left Behind.

by Daphne Darling   Jun 23, 2005

There’s a little white box,
And it’s covered in paper,
It sits alone in the corner,
Waiting to be opened again.

But there’s no one there,
And it seems as if its gonna stay,
No one cares any more,
And they have all left it behind

There’s a little white puppy,
And it’s covered in dirt,
It sits alone in the corner,
Waiting for someone to come.

But there’s no one there,
And it seems as if its gonna stay,
No one cares any more,
And they have all left it behind.

There’s a little girl over there,
She’s got nothing left to lose,
And she just sits alone,
Waiting for someone to care.

But there’s no one there,
And it seems as if she’s gonna stay,
No one cares any more,
And they have all left her behind.

Alone in the dark we can cry,
And hope to powers it’s all ok,
But as the lights still shining,
Nothing is ever gonna change.

And there’s no one there,
And its seems as if we're gonna stay,
And no one cares any more,
And they have all left us behind.
