Shes reaching out
I never even saw
The bruises she hid
The tears she cried
Her mom, the cause of all this pain
Who would have thought?
The scars she hides
From even her closest friends
No longer hidden
She let someone in
An accident, she must retreat again
Back into her shell, her safe haven
Until someone rescues her
Forever.
