A rose-
So sweet, so pure, so white
This rose-
Velvety soft, its fragrance light.

A rose-
Budding small, thrusting upward
This rose-
Blooming thick and full.

A rose-
The only one that flowers
My rose-
Its thorns as sharp as steel.
