New life

by Treakle   Jun 23, 2005

Pack your bags little child
You're leaving now, you're getting out
You make your way to a whole new world
A new adventure, these stories untold.
You'll experience it all right here and now,
A new beginning as you look around,
Everything strange, odd and new,
It could be today all your dreams come true.
You try your best to become accustom,
You know now that it has been done,
You're out here and you're on your own,
You try to please and not to groan,
At first you smile, but then you cry,
It feels so hard, but you must try,
To get used to this, your new life,
You're mum is here to aid your strife,
She's in much pain as she lets go,
And you're dad, they both know,
That things will change, from today
For you are born little baby May.

It's about a child coming into the world when everything is new and difficult to understand.
