just again, beautifully simple. I really admire some of this work. I have to ask, i know you said youve always enjoyed writing down your thoughts, but exactly how long have you been doing poetry as structured expression? Im just curious. You seem to be a beautifully honest artist, great job on this one.

Justin - thanks for the nice comments. I really appreciate the thoughts and questions. I have been writing my thoughts for many years but mainly since the early 80's when I was so in love and so inspired. I think I have been a romantic since an early age, at least thats what my mom has always said. She's from Belgium and maybe it's the European in me coming out, a little old world at times.

The love from long ago that lasted so long didn't work out at the time. But as is life we go on and find out we still have some other adventures instore. I am happily married now and have a wonderful life with my wife. I still like to write my thoughts and feel my heart when I do. It is such sweet and refreshing pain.

Thanks again to all that have commented on my poems and have enjoyed them. I am not a pro and maybe should rewrite some of them as they seem kind of dumb and could use better wording.

It's only been just since coming to this site that I have let anyone else other than myself read these words. I have shared them only with a few in my life, very very few. Probably less than a half a dozen peole have ever read them or even know that I write them. So for me this was a big step. I'm an old geaser now at almost 53 but reading all those that post their work here keep me a little young at heart. I sure have felt the pain that many express here and I have to add also the joy. Thanks again for the comments. I will be sure to visit all who comment and comment on their works as well. I truely enjoy it...
