A worn out phrase, heard a time to many.
By people with loving boyfriends,
People whose friends are plenty.
Life cant be easy,
its joy AND pain
You cant be perfect,
its just not sane.
Embrace your pain,
and joy too.
You have to feel it all,
it helps shape you.
Its okay to cry,
we all get sad.
Letting it out feels good,
and that cant be bad.
But dont let your pain take over your soul
It will ruin your life,
digging a deeper hole.
Balance the two,
keep them in check.
Enjoy all parts of your life,
you only live once,
and its not over yet.
