As i look its a reflection i see
in this reflection is a beautiful young lady.
with a very beautiful spirit.
she is very outgoing
she is friendly
but mean at times very mean
she is very talented
but know one really knows
she is very smart
both street smarts and book smarts
and people can see that when she speaks.
but sometimes i see this reflection holding back
i see that she is afraid
afraid of being hurt again
she is afraid to let her guards down
but what i also see is a young lady
who lets her guards down for the wrong people
she lets them in and what she was afraid of happening
happens
her feelings get hurt
and when a person who means good by her
gets hurt because her guards are up
and they are ten times as strong
in this reflection i see someone looking and waiting for love because she wants it and she knows she deserves it
in this reflection i see me
and to me i say everything you want is not good for you.
