Kennys Cry

I wrote this poem in remembrance of a real elephant, may he rest now that he is in a better place. please visit http://www.circuses.com for more information on the horrors of circuses.

Kenny’s Cry

Kenny was a young elephant
mournful with a broken spirit
he lived out his days in the Big Top
he preformed for Ringling Brothers
just three years of age, separated from his mother
this baby Indian Elephant grew ill
Ignored by his keepers, whipped and chained
he was still made to do three shows per day!
Kenny’s condition worsened
wailing out loud, he could hardly stand
still his captors ignored his plea
and by the third show that day...
Kenny had died, and his body was being hauled away
He died a silent death, no one cared, no one cried.
Yet this humble being lives on,
and his story is one that must be told
for he is not the only one
Please listen to their cries!
Do not visit circuses where animals are exploited.

I hate circuses i really hate them
this poem was beautiful, and when i clicked on the tittle i never thought it would be about an elephant, it surprised me, i love elephants and i think it's very valuable that u made a poem about how innocent animals are being hurt everyday
    5/5 for sure
