Once upon a time there was a girl,
Quite pretty, very modest and slight.
Was of the extraordinary kind,
needing someone just to explain why.
"Once a lifetime someone will take your breath away,
Might happen today,tomorrow;- or just before you die
Your one of these magical people,
That causes it to rain when you cry.
And you can dance in the dark,
Because you know your not alone at night
Just one of those extraordinary people,
That see the world in such a joyous light
That can turn worlds upside-down,- inside-out,
By painting the day black and the night white.
So once upon a time there was a girl,
Very quiet and perhaps a little too polite and shy
Buried under the sands as a beautiful pearl,
Until these very words of mine find you… and bring you home.â€
