She Broke Your Heart

by Molly Elizabeth   Jun 23, 2005

You use your sarcasm
to hide who you really are,
you don't want anyone to see it
but she left a painful scar.
You once believed in love,
it was no good...
she went and broke your heart...
deep down you knew she would.
Now it's all a game to you,
each time you get so far
you've closed your eyes to happiness, you've closed your heart to love...
you know your world will get so cold
so lonely when your so locked up.

    Dear Molly,

This has been captured so splendidly. It seems you expressed the same thoughts that I have where I could not express them so vividly. Thank you for such a wonderful poem. Keep up the good work.

    With warmest regards,
