White dress

by SoMeb0dyDiFfeRenT   Jun 24, 2005

She smiles and laughs and hides her hurt.
if ever one only knew her white dress hid the dirt.
Alone in the darkness she lets her eyes rain,
wishing and wishing to stop the pain.

And when dawn appears,
she wipes away the tears not wanting any to kno her fears.

She wears a mask the rest of the day,
Yes, a fake smile, and off to the play.
