I will not love again...

As I lay here wondering,
Are you thinking of me?
Are you thinking of our love,
That was just not meant to be?

Do you remember those times,
When we would argue and fight,
Over things so stupid,
And end up setting each other right?

I would always wonder,
Why I fell for you.
Knowing we'll never stay together,
But,.. my love for you was true.

Knowing that our age is far apart
You'd tell me you'd wait for me,
Deeply from the bottom of your heart
I thought you were for real

'Cause once I heard those words from you
I was definitely shocked but happy
'Cause now I know that your love for me is true.

As our love continues on,
More and more fishes in the sea
You seem like you can't control yourself
I'm afraid cause now you see more than just me

As more time continues on...
Our feelings start to change for one another
This feeling isn't the same
For I know we won't remain together.

I watch the way you treat them
Flirting your way through
They laugh, they giggle
Now wishing to be with you

All of them fighting for you
Unfortunately, one won your heart
You leaving me with these wondering thoughts
I should've thought twice, to be wise, to be smart

You took my love for granted
You treated our love like a game
You were another jerk
A jerk that made me feel stupid and lame

I suddenly feel the lump in my throat, wanting to cry
My eyes start to get teary
But I simply wipe it off
Even though the thought of you makes my heart dreary

This pain, this sadness, these tears
I can't take it anymore
I hope this door will finally close
I will not break down like before

I thought our love was fate
I will continue to be strong
I will never fall in love again
I don't care if what I'm doing is right or wrong

I don't want to love again....
