I catch myself laying here thinking of you, i never knew my heart wouldn't be true

i never for once doubted your love, you said you loved me, and i was your angel from up above

you told me i held the keys to your heart, you never pictured us apart

what we had was true and real, no one could give me feelings that you made me feel

then my heart made a big change, i never knew one decision could cause you so much pain

we're both growing apart and going separate ways, but i know in the end, everything will be okay

remember what i meant to you, the first time you said i love you, and never question if our love was true, because in out heart we both knew
