Upon my last rope

Morning sunrise
And I am alive
Another day I must endure
Another day for others to thrive

I survived that dreaded night
When fear takes my breath away
No one to help fight demons
I must go alone all the way

Why cant I be good enough
For someone to hold safe and tight
None of us a perfect
But everything I do just isn't right

Hey, I know I ain't that pretty
But I have a heart inside my chest
It feels love and pain
Just like all the rest

I can brake down almost everything
Survive the horrors of my past
The one thing though I can not escape
Is the one pursues me fast

Loneliness, the word rings out in silence
The cold turns me blue
I know that I will forever be alone
These hard times I must get through

Not enough courage to leave
Not enough courage to stay
Caught between to worlds
Shivering, breath misting as I lay

Will no one give me
That chance I ask for most
I will not disappoint
But it will never happen I suppose

I shrug my shoulders
And get up from my bed
Another day I must endure
Another day to dread

Another day of rejection
Another day of lost hope
Another day of loneliness
