Love of your life

A new born life
a new born soul
you plan his life
and give him goals

to him you sing
and him you love
hes god little angel
sent from above

his smile makes you happy
and his tears make you cry
without him you couldn't live
without him you would die

you see that hes special
and care for him w/ all you've got
he is the miracle
that for years you've sought

you whisper n his ears
and tickle his tummy
you say i love u
and love to hear mommy

he is your pride and joy
the love of your life
you will be there
through good times and strife

your little baby boy
he is something else
nothing short of a miracle
he is the one and no one else

but another is coming
to join this place
you will love her too
from the moment you see her face

love them both
don't let them forget
they come first
through all of it

    I like this poem very much, but you see....

    It's not a universal thing, because some mothers all over the world would gladly give up their baby for money, for the "love of their life" and etcetera.

    I realy like this, there's nothing I can complain about.

    This is an excellent poem. I like the beginning (and it is very appropriate). The development is efficient, and the structure coherent. In short, this is truly wonderful. My only complaint is this is a bit 'slangy' and maybe this should belong in that section. In any case, the imagery and diction are great. Well done!
