Silver coated tears

by katie!   Jun 24, 2005

Silver coated tears drop to the rhythm of my mind
Bullets on my skin, stand out from where I cannot find
Sifting with the dancers who echo different pieces of hate
Picturesque images burn in my eyes as I wait

My morning extinguished straight in my vision
Listen to the shadows with their icing laced derision
My evening vanishes as the rain hammers on the ceiling
Falling to the ground, with my anxious life feeling

Mirages and illusions become nothing but tears
Coated with silver masking and portraying my fears
My ears prick as the scornful hope laughs upon my place
Lies wrapped up in beauty, hatred below the grace

Followed an assasin into the deep sea of destruction
No thoughts controlling me, simple pain is my function
Lifting a weight, no knowledge can reside in my heart
Downcast and banished from the bloodied start

Sitting and reflecting in mirrors unknown to me
Where cameras record my mistakes, watching me flee
I'm on a journey where I'm weighted down with fears
Carrying on shedding these silver coated tears
