You stayed within the boundaries of form and meter which is a good thing. The poem is very clean from a structural perspective, the rhyme is not too forced and it flows evenly.

The message of the poem is close to home, personal and honest, which, nine times out of ten, will make for a good poem.

I enjoyed it and the sentiment you conveyed made me smile.

If I had to critisise any area of your work it would be this: I think you can improve areas of your writing by delving deeper into the english language. There are many, many words that can help express your feelings in a more poetic way. But there is no rush, time is on your side and I am certain that with time your (considerable) talent will develop nicely.

Always have a dictionary to hand and never be afraid to use it!
