Hidden Pain

You find yourself crying alone
hurt so deep, more than is shown

you know all you can do is fail
you think you cant do anything right
even when you try with all your might

success is far from sight
shaking, in your hand a knife
thinking back on what use to be your life

wearing long sleeves and cuffs
just trying to hide your suicidal bluffs

no one even pretends to care
your life is becoming too much to bare

things aren't always how they seem
no one can hear your silent scream

you cant think of one reason to stay alive
baring down, hoping this time not to survive

your hopes for life were so high
now all you seem to want is to die

motionless you lie
you have no one tears left to cry

your fake smiles grow
your tears they'll never know
fake happiness is all you've ever shown
