This shows alot of strong emotion but does not show how or why you got there I think if you can show your reader that the poem would be more powerful just a thought...

I'm glad that you're better now...back then you used to really scare me, but now I trust that you won't hurt yourself beyond repair. And if you do, well...God only knows I'll be waiting for the day you want to talk to me again.
