Dear Santa

Dear Santa

I heard you bring people joy
When you come to town
i heard you visit everyone's house
and make a smile from a frown
I asked my mama why i can't see you
why around here you never come
and she said its because i am bad
and then she hit me some
I don't think she knows
how strong she can be
She doesn't realize
how much she really hurts me
but to you Santa
I write this letter
asking for your help
to make my mama better
I try to be good
but mama just doesn't see
She likes to drink a lot
good enough for her i'll never be
I know she loves me
somewhere in her heart
but she just forgot
how to see that part
And if you come this year Santa
and make my mama better
I will never bother you
with another letter
If my mama was happy
she would love me
and our lives would be perfect
love in her eyes i would see
Please help me Santa
because without you
Mama will never realize
how much she puts me through
