I know it's been awhile
I know it's been too long
I shouldn't keep thinking about you
I should be staying strong

But I can't deny it
24/7 you are on my mind
Now no matter what I do
Thoughts of you are all I find

We had a rocky start
But soon became good friends
All the days we were together
All the time I loved to spend

But soon it changed
And became just a little more
You started to act different
It made my heart soar

You showed more affection
Acted like you cared
It was all new to me
My feelings for you made me scared

No one ever showed me that
No one treated me that way
You know that this is all true
You know I mean all that I say

We had plans to hang out together
I knew it was too good to be true
For soon enough you let me go
And left me nothing but blue

I'm sorry for trying to talk to you
I guess you didn't feel the same
But you started to ignore me
It was like you forgot my name

Sometimes we talk, sometimes we don't
We have our ups and downs
But just one call from you

Just seeing you makes me happy
When you talk to me I'm on a high
Your bright blue eyes and smiles
I miss you more as each day goes by

If loving you is wrong
I've committed a huge sin

But I'll put my feelings aside
Do anything I have to do
Just to bond again
Just to get our friendship back from you

You brightened my world
You changed my life

To take away my pain and strife
