Her Special Wedding

It was almost time
she felt so alive
she got set and ready
as the clock struck five

the doors flung open
she was dressed to impress
as she walked down the aisle
in her long, white dress

with daddy on her arm
and mommy on her side
she felt like she was lucky
she was the perfect bride

it seemed life forever
as that walk continued on
all her sense of feeling
was completely gone

'cuz all she thought and saw
was of her handsome man
God had planned it out that way
from when their life began

she with dad reached the front
the walk was over and done
she looked deep into his eyes
and said, "daddy, he's the one."

dad kissed her on the cheek
he had to let her fly
now only with two words left
she'd love him 'til she'd die

the preacher brought them up
in the joining of the two
her perfect day ended
when they both said i do!
