Falling Apart

Lives torn apart,
Right at the seams,
A battle beyond,
Your wildest dreams,

A battle driven,
By blood-thirsty beasts,
Waiting to have,
Their horrible feasts,

People are the beasts,
We are in the wrong,
I don't see why,
We can't get along,

I'm sick of fighting,
I'm sick of wars,
I'm sick of such stupid,
And stuffed up laws,

Why is life lived so unfairly?
Why are some people poor,
When others are rich?
Why don't we help the ones who need more,

I hate terrorists,
I hate the word 'g-u-n',
Why isn't the world,
A place of fun?

Not a place of destruction,
Or a place of mess,
I'm starting to like the world,
Less and less,

Not only do we destroy evil,
We destroy the good,
The world should be better,
I'd change it if I could,

Why can't we get over our problems,
And put them in the past,
We'd better stop the uglyness,
If we want the world to last.
