Why'd you have to come back
you were gone
I'd convinced myself i was over you

why'd you have to come back
I'd moved on
i was doing just fine without you

why'd you have to come back
I'm so confused now
now i know why i missed you so much

why'd you have to come back
now i don't know how
i can fix things with him

why'd you have to come back
i don't even know anymore
if i want to fix it at all

why'd you have to come back
now i have a choice to make
a choice between you and him

why'd you have to come back
the choice was always here
but i thought it had already been made

why'd you have to come back
I'll make my choice
but i have one question for you first

why'd you have to come back?
