Falling Shadow:. Part two

by Abby   Jun 26, 2005

Your brown eyes come to mind, then everything fades into white... then black...

I am weak. A tear moves slowly down my face and my hands shake from cold. The trees block out almost all sunlight... except from the one place, not far from where I lye. There it filters through the leaves. It is there that I just barely make out a figure in the haze.

A dark cloak over his eyes, his hands at his sides.
He lifts his head slightly to reveal piercing blue eyes. They scan through the trees and come to a dead stop, when they fall on me. He starts walking, slowly, towards me. Before I realize, he is standing over me and I find myself staring into the sharp blue.
I slowly close my eyes, too weak to think about what he will do.

When I open my eyes again, he is sitting turned away from me, between the light and shadow. Something silver at his side...
In the dim light I make out a strange shape on his back... it almost looks like... wings.

To be continued
