Forever you and me

by Danielle   Jun 26, 2005

Standing here before you, our hands intertwined
I can't help but shed a tear at the story I see in your eyes

Your touch, so gentle
so loving as you brush your lips against mine
whispered words of promises meet my ears
And I can't help but pray that this is real as you speak two words binding us together until the end

Swaying, hand and hand
your fingers run through my hair, tenderly telling me, you'll love me forever more
And tears fall from your eyes as I whisper: forever you and me

Laying in the dark, tangled in our love
My head against your beating chest
Your lips a mere whisper against my cheek
Your words drift to the heavens above just as we fall to sleep. . .
I'll love you until the end of time.
