MY MODERN DAY ROMEO

by allyson   Jun 26, 2005

I wrote this poem with help from a friend for a person who i thought would be my one and only!!!

Romeo my love,
My sin
My Curse,
You are my love fair sir,
for the sweet feeling of holding you
being hand in hand.
I long, Mourn until I can embrace your presence once more.
Yet, I can and will wait at the beginning and end of time.
The beginning of a many civilizations may pass by,
Yet, I would still wait.
I would wait to embrace your presence once more even if it is only once more.
As you are my sin, sir
For the love and burning passion we share even if it may be wrong still feels so right.
Yet you are my curse, a curse of the finest form if ever one could be a curse that I would long for.
as a curse bestowed upon me that I love and can be loved.
it may be a curse indeed.
for with out your love I shall surely parish
For whom IS this Romeo I write of?
who is the one who had captured my heart and soul who's love I cannot bear to be with out?
and who's love is burning as are his magnificent eyes the eyes that burn into the souls of many women?
but of all he chose me to love.
and for that I am grateful that is how you are my sin for you love me and I love you that is a sin,
but it would be a greater one if we didn't love.
This modern Romeo who is he?
where is he?
for I shall not tell because surely you would try and win him over but I know that you shall not win him.
he is not a prize to be won by the likes of a women no one can win him as his spirit drifts free through the course of time.
I would surly not say this name but let it be a testament of our love devotion for each other the name who I dream of being with and I see his name this modern Romeo is …
