Defense

by Amber   Jun 26, 2005

I'm sitting her in my chair,
thinking of the days gone by
holding near the things I've said,
so intense I've got no defense

walking through my lonely tears,
don't know what has got me here
I haven't dwelled on all my fears
its something i have learned all these years

pushed away all the words in my past
but the points you left behind
with someone else this love would last
ill never be the same in your mind

something has made me feel that this is where i should lay my head
now i make my own decisions
i know what i will see

when you look into my eyes
I'm sure the new presence, you'll wish to keep
