Corners of a Triangle

by Leana   Jun 26, 2005

Unspoken feelings hang heavy in the air
No words could ever make amends
Two friends were torn apart during lent
Because of two people so in love
Yet she wears another’s ring
Two corners of a triangle…

Of love and hate and saying “I do”
Forever’s a promise she just couldn’t break
A grown man’s tears and a baby’s desperate cry
“Don’t give in” is easier said than done
I see the two of you talking
Laughter in the air but pain in your eyes

You’re three corners of a triangle
And I think I’m caught in the middle
Watching you
Crying for you
Never saying a word
